Compound Bows!
The most important thing a customer needs to know before purchasing a bow is that it needs to fit you like a pair of jeans. There are many sizes and configurations, and just because your friend uses one type or brand doesn't mean that's the best one for you. Further, used-bow-buyers beware -- if you don't know your proper draw length, don't buy a used bow until you find out from a professional who knows how to measure it properly. It will save you a lot of money, time, and frustration. In fact, there are some older bows that simply aren't worth servicing because the cost of the adjustments can easily outweigh the value of the bow. To make matters worse, these bows, once adjusted, perform poorly compared to today's least expensive entry level compound bows.
With the diversity of other inventory in the store and our current space constraints, we're only able to carry a few compound bows in-stock. We try to maintain a Browning Micro-Midas or Micro-Adrenalin for small framed individuals, a hybrid model and a nice hunting model such as the PSE Brute with NRG cam shown on this page. We are able to order many brands and models including PSE, Browning, Martin, Reflex and Parker. In addition, we can order recurve and target bows.
At Lone Eagle Outdoors, we focus on customer service. That means we'd rather see you get the best fitting equipment rather than simply "making a sale." Although we offer FREE set-up when bows are purchased at our store, we're just as happy to set-up and tune your bows purchased elsewhere (as long as they were properly fit when purchased).
