Fishing Area Information!

Fish from Willow Springs LakeLone Eagle Outdoors of Heber-Overgaard AZ is located on the Mogollon Rim in the White Mountains.  This area boasts several excellent recreational fishing lakes within 30 minutes of the store (all are West of Heber-Overgaard off of Highway 260).  While at the store, be sure to pick up you fishing license and stamps as well as regulations.  Check the list below for the prices as well as the various licenses available including the Youth Combo license.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department provides a species chart as well as stocking schedule. Black Canyon, Willow Springs, Woods Canyon, Chevelon Canyon, Knoll and Bear Canyon Lakes are just a few of the local lakes that can be accessed nearby.  Most of these lakes are stocked April through Septmeber with rainbow trouot, but other species do exist in some of the lakes.  Although many of the Rim Lakes are snowed-in during winter months, many hearty folks brave the walk through the snow to ice fish!!

Arizona Game and Fish Department publishes a weekly fishing report, but you can also contact Lone Eagle Outdoors directly at 928-535-4323 for more specific reports during fishing season.

If you need a license, following are the current License and Stamp fees.  Please note that all AZ Game and Fish retail license dealers sell licenses, permits and stamps at the same state-mandated price.
