Lone Eagle Outdoors of Heber-Overgaard AZ is the only USGS Business Partner on the Mogollon Rim that stocks selected topographical (topo) and US Forest Service maps. We also carry an excellent road map of the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation, a popular, nearby hunting area.
Topo Maps
We stock all or most of the topo maps for local hunt units here on the Rim or in the White Mountains with a focus on units 4a, 3c, 4b, and 23. We have some maps for 5b, 3a, 3b, and a few for Units 1 & 27. Please note that some hunt units are comprised of 10 or more topo maps (7.5 minute (1:24,000) versions, each covering only 36-40 square miles), so come on in and we'll help you find the ones you need. And, don't forget, if you need help using them with your compass or GPS, we also have Waypointer tools.
We carry the new plasticized (not laminated, but somewhat weather-resistant) forest service maps for Coconino, Prescott, Kaibab North and Kaibab South. We currently can only get the paper versions for Tonto and Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.
