Hiking Trails!
Before hiking in the White Mountains on the Mogollon Rim in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, be sure to stop by Lone Eagle Outdoors of Heber-Overgaard AZ and pick up a free map of the area showing nearby lakes and some of the nearly 20 trails that are located within close proximity of the store (approximately 30 minutes West of town). While you are here, be sure to pick up a Camelbak (hydration pack) or water bottle to stay hydrated during your exploration of the area.
The trails in this area range from easy to difficult and short to long and they can all be accessed from the Appache-Sitgreaves National Forest website ( ASNF website). For those seeking to relax and enjoy the great outdoors, this is just the place to do it!! We hope to see you soon!!!
